Five students arrested with the dreaded drug LSD were taken to court on Monday and remanded for five days. The DC of Motijheel division said they would be questioned on remand. Coming to the country in various ways, the horrible halogenic drug LSD or lysergic acid diethalamide. A year ago, the Department of Narcotics Control arrested two people, including an LSD consignment. DB recently arrested three people with a large consignment.
Last Sunday, five students from different universities were arrested again with this drug.
The DC of Motijheel division of the police said that they used to buy and sell LSD through 14 to 15 hidden Facebook groups. It was brought to the country through international couriers and luggages. They behaved abnormally as they were in LSD condition at the time of arrest. As a result, no further information was initially available.
They came from an affluent family, some of them were studying abroad, they came to the country because of Corona. Recently, a student of Dhaka University died due to consumption of yaba and LSD.
The Department of Narcotics Control is talking about the involvement of various international couriers to prevent the entry of drugs in the country.
The DG of the Department of Narcotics Control said that there are several symptoms besides mental disorder when taking this drug.
For over a year, using the Hidden Group through social media, LSD has been selling and consuming. The Cyber Crime Suppression Unit is also working with the law enforcement agencies to stop them.
