The virginity test for women who want to join the Indonesian army has been canceled after long-standing demands from human rights groups.
Doctors used a "two-finger test" to test the hymen of women willing to join the army, according to a Reuters report on Wednesday.
Human Rights Watch called it strategic oppression and cruelty.

The chief of staff of the Indonesian army told reporters on Tuesday that there would be no more such tests in the army.
